Egypt head coach Hossam El-Badry says he’s optimistic his team has what it takes to qualify from Group D of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Recall that the Pharaohs are pitted alongside the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Sudan, and Guinea-Bissau. They will face Nigeria in the Group D opening fixture on January 11.
Speaking with Kingfut.com, El-Badry stated that they will do everything to perform well in order to satisfy the aspirations of the fans at home.
“Our group was quite balanced and not easy due to the improvement of all these teams, who also have great players,” El-Badry said.
“I have great confidence in God and in the capabilities of the players to overcome this group and perform well to satisfy the aspirations of the Egyptian fans.
