BREAKING: Sowore wins AAC Presidential Primary election


The Publisher of Sahara Reporters and Convener of #TakeItBack Movement, Omoyele Sowore, has been elected the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, for the 2023 general election.

Mr. Sowore was unanimously elected without opposition by members of the party on Thursday at its national primary convention that took place at Work and Connect Event Center, in Abuja.

On the other hand, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu has lost the Presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to Dumebi Kachikwu on Wednesday.

Kachikwu polled a total of 977 votes against Moghalu who came second with 589 votes while Monye who came third had 339 votes.
