Cristiano Ronaldo’ salary after re-signing for Manchester United this summer has been made known.

The Red Devils reached an agreement for the former Juventus superstar’s transfer and landed the Portuguese forward for an initial fee of £12.8m, which could rise to £19.4m through add-ons.

However, it has now emerged that the United legend took a £6m pay cut ahead of his imminent return to Old Trafford.

According to The Daily Mail, the 36-year-old  will be on a lucrative £385,000-a-week deal and has become United’s best-paid player.

Ronaldo’s super-agent, Jorge Mendes, demanded £20m per year for his client’s wages.

The former Real Madrid superstar’s wage demands were slashed in a bid to secure Ronaldo’s move to United ahead of the transfer window closing on 31st August.
