Super Eagles striker, Simy Nwankwo has promised to repay his new club, Salernitana with goals when the Serie A begins this weekend.
The newly-promoted club signed the Nigeria international from Crotone, who were relegated last season to Serie B.
Recall that the 29-year-old joined Crotone from Portuguese Outfit Gil Vicente and netted 66 goals in 159 appearances for them.
In a chat with BBC Sports, Simy stated that he can’t wait to start banging in the goals for Salernitana.
“The desire to bring me here was special and I’m determined to repay the faith the club have put in me,” the striker told BBC Sport.
