A college don, Affiliate Coordinator of the Federal Polytechnic Offa and Federal University of Oye-Ekiti Degree and Top-Up Conversion programmme for Mass Communication, and General Secretary of a Publicity service-based organization, Jimoh Olorede, has extolled the prudence and managerial acumen of the Governor of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola in his governance of the state.

Olorede gave this commendation yesterday while featuring on a weekly personality interview programme on the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) Radio.

Commending Oyetola, he said residents of the state do not feel the real scourge of the economic hardship occasioned by Covid-19 pandemic because of the governor’s proactive, problem-solving measures and many social interventionist programmes.

Marveled at Oyetola’s performance as evident in his unbeatable and unprecedented numerous records of achievements in three years of his administration despite insufficient federal allocation and other meager resources accruing to the state, Olorede urged residents of the state to compensate Oyetola with their support, solidarity and continuous mandate.

He said: “On Tuesday for instance, I witnessed the 2022 Inter-religious Prayer programmme at the Government Secretariat, Abere, here in Osogbo, where workers in the state ushered the governor into office amidst joy and jam.

“The awards of new cars and other numerous gift items by the governor to deserving workers in the state at the event were record-breaking.

“He also approved disbursement of N250 Million as Car Refurbishing Loans to the state workers, and 10,000 hectares of land for construction of 180 housing units in the state.

“For these and other dividends of good governance by the Oyetola led government which epitomizes his regime as people-friendly, I urge residents of the state never to change this winning team”.
