Napoli and Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, scored again on Thursday to help Napoli clinch a home win against a stubborn Legia Warsaw from Poland in their UEFA Europa League matchday three of Group C.
Goals from Lorenzo Insigne, Victor Osimhen and Matteo Polittano helped the Gli Azurris put a hold on Legia Warsaw’s hundred percent record in the Europa League this season as their bid to qualify from a sixth consecutive Europa League group stage finally takes off.
Prior to tonight, The Polish clubside had not conceded a goal in their first two matches of this campaign and thus, made Napoli toil for the entirety of the first period in search for a goal.
Napoli coach, Luciano Spaletti, invited Osimhen in the fifty-seventh minute to intensity the threats of the hosts even as The Wojskowi were pinned into their own half.

It was Osimhen’s ninth goal in just ten appearances for the Naples across all competitions this campaign, and his fourth in three outings in the UEFA Europa League.
