An Islamic Non-Governmental Organisation, Zakat and Sadaqah Foundation, has concluded arrangements to offer free medical care to over 200 indigent persons, including the elderly, women, youths and children as well as to distribute items like clothes, cooking utensils, shoes among others to indigent persons.
The Osun State Administrative Officer of the Foundation, Mallam Moshood Olaoye said the event will take place at Ola-Oluwa Local Government in Telemu town, Osun State on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020.
The Administrative Officer said the Medical outreach is in line with the vision to ensure better living standard and ensuring healthy life for the people.
He expressed that apart from free distribution of drugs to people, there is going to be medical check-ups for minor ailments and a health talk on practical steps to healthy living.
He stated that the same programme which had been held in Iwo, Ile-Ife and Olodan village in Ede South Local Government provided fee drugs for the people, adding that qualified medical personnel were engaged for the free health programme.
Mallam Olaoye urged philanthropists and well meaning people to partner the Foundation in its efforts to alleviate suffering of the indigents, widows, orphans and entire humanity, adding that, the Foundation has various services like empowerment, medical support, widows and orphans supports, education supports, community development projects among others.
